Welcome to Heaven sign by QuantumInnovator Welcome to Heaven sign by QuantumInnovator
If Heaven had a sign next to the pearly gates the same way amusement park rides have signs in the waiting queues welcoming you and explaining what the rules are, I imagine it would look like this. Here are some scriptures from the King James Bible to back me up:

"And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever."
Revelation 22:5

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:14

Accept Jesus Christ into your heart and you will get to go to heaven yourself. Trust me, it will be much more enjoyable than anything on Earth. You will never be bored in Heaven, nor you will get sick, injured or even tired.

Once you have accepted Jesus Christ into your heart, share your faith with others so that they may join you in Heaven someday. You can do so by adding this image to your favorites and talking to other people about Jesus Christ, both offline and online.

What do you look forward to in Heaven? Feel free to let me know.

I hope Heaven doesn't have a height requirement. (Possibly one for moral stature.)

I don't believe in a god or higher power, but I find it to be lovely that the belief in him exists, as 99% of christians I've met are very nice and open for suggestion and doesn't push on thier beliefs on people like me, who find the thruth you find in god, in science.

So you have to believe in God, accept Jesus into your heart, trust him to forgive and save you, etc. if you want to go to heaven? In that case, can I ask you a few questions? I'm not trying to pick a fight and I don't try to offend you. There are just a few things I'd like to know.
What about children who died at a very young age? By that I mean children who were too young to understand all those things or haven't even heard about God yet.
And, of course, there are places where people never learnt about God. They don't know about the bible. Sure, there are missionaries, but they can't be everywhere, can they?
What about people who were brought up to worship other gods? All there live they believe they are doing the right thing. And while many people know about other religions, there are also people who don't know that.
Are those people going to hell just because they never had the chance to accept Jesus? I mean, there has to be a difference between people who heard about God and don't believe in him and those who don't believe in God because they didn't know. It wouldn't be really fair, would it?

I hope I didn't offend you or attack your religion. If I did, I'm sorry. I might not share your belief, but I see no reason to insult people just because I disagree with them. Oh, and I hope you understood what I wrote. My english is far from perfect, after all.

I am not the author of this post, but I think I can help.

Children who died at a very young age, or before they were born, etc. do indeed go to Heaven. That's because they didn't have a chance to refuse God. God chooses each and every one of us first, but we don't all choose him, thus since those children who died had no time, God takes them in straight away no question. :)

I believe it's very unlikely that there's group of people who haven't so much as heard of the Bible today (the Bible is in more languages than any other book in history), but, it's quite likely the former. Every person must have a chance at knowing God before they can refuse Him. God would take them as well.

People who worshipped other God can also go to Heaven if they turn and accept God.

...so all those that do not believe in God and Jesus, get sent to Hell, even if they have done no harm towards anyone else?
...are these two that insecure, that they will only save people who only believe in them? And I don't just mean atheists.

Seems very unfair in my opinion, if they were truly benevolent, they would save those that didn't believe in them as well.

Man has been sinned. So it's the one and only way to be saved - accept Jesus in your heart and ask Holy Spirit to lead your life. Just good deeds won't change your inner self and didn't restore your human spirit.

It feels like god only cares how much you believe in him, and not just doing good works.
Like wise god could've made man sinless and have better intuition of making good choices, or not have us need a physical form and only enjoy ourselves without harm and make a world unlike ours for that purpose. Sorry, but god is too crazy for me to believe in.

Well, doing good works will profit and benefit you in this life, but when you'll stand before Him in eternity - your good deeds won't count at all and give nothing to your salvation. As Jesus said

Matthew 7:
21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Being just believer is nothing. Being practicing believer - that's the goal. And without spiritual reborn you cannot be that practicing believer.
God created world in perfect. Man with his disobedience spoils everything. So God sent His Only Son to fix our mistake and help us to return to human archetype - man, who didn't commit sins. It's possible. Everything is up to us. I'm not sinless yet...but have lot of sins already in the past, defeated and forgotten. It's real thing, man.

And the rules of Hell are:

No light.

No happiness.

No hope.

One thing in particular about Heaven I look forward to is the possibility of extinct animals being there, and tamed no less.  Imagine the joy of petting, no, riding a dinosaur.

Nobody actually believes that. It's just an annoying trope that appears in fiction way too often, and something middle schoolers like to say to be edgy.

The people that believe Hell will be fun probably also believe Heaven will be boring. I think Heaven will be very energetic and exciting, something that I'll have to address in a future deviation.

Yes, yes. God loves our expressions, however humble they are. :)

I believe Heaven, and Heaven on Earth after the Rapture, will be a place where the sky is so blue and the valleys are as green as can be. We'll all live together in peace and joy and harmony forever with the Man who made us. :)
